I had a sample of Mil-Comm MC25 in my gun cleaning cabinet and decided to try it. I had been using M-Pro7 Gun Cleaner to clean my gun oil wear test equipment. I decided to give MC25 a try. The gun oil wear tests require a good cleaner in order to remove all traces of oil and metal debris.
Let’s take a look at how it performed.
Here is one of the pieces of 6061-T6 aluminum alloy that I use in the gun oil wear tests. Here it is after one of the tests. You can see the left over lubricant mixed with metal debris. It’s not hard to clean but it is important that all of the oil is removed.
Here is the same piece of 6061 aluminum after cleaning with 2 patches. It’s squeaky clean. Mil-Comm MC25 is a great cleaner and does not smell and it’s non-toxic.I think it works as well as M-Pro7 Gun Cleaner. You can try it out here….Mil-Comm MC25 Weapon Cleaner at Amazon.com
