Is Ballistol non toxic?
Well… let’s define toxic first….
1.of, pertaining to, affected with, or caused by a toxin or poison:
a toxic condition.
2.acting as or having the effect of a poison; poisonous:
a toxic drug.
3.causing unpleasant feelings; harmful or malicious:
OK…so toxic means causing harm to. Now let’s look at the warning label on Ballistol CLP.
You can see the “Danger” warning label on the bottom of the Ballistol can. It reads, “Danger: Extremely Flammable Contents Under Pressure Harmful or Fatal if Swallowed.”
But right above that Warning is the following, Eco Friendly! Skin Safe No Carcinogens.
So is Ballistol non-toxic? Yes, as long as you don’t ingest it. So if you use it as directed, it is non-toxic. I recommend using it only outdoors. It has a strong smell and I really do not want to breathe the fumes. I wear eye protection also.
